Only a month to go!

I am so excited! Only a month left until Emilie Simon's new album "The Big Machine" is released in France!! Her single "Dreamland" is out now, which I could NOT stop listening to on repeat for days after downloading it.

In other news, I've finally gotten around to writing up a script for In the Air chapter 4 (after I've already gotten... 7 pages drawn. Oops.) I'm going to try drawing some of it out this weekend. Wish me luck!

Went to my first life drawing class today with Katelyn and her friends Ryan and Collin. It went pretty well. :) I was going to post some of the better sketches I got, but my camera died and I didn't feel like firing up the scanner!

When I got home, I found my order from Tally in the mail!! (tally-art.blogspot.com) Uhm, I wasn't able to get better pictures before my camera died. Here's what I was able to get :)

Canadian Bakin'

This was my logic of last night:

My apartment's like an oven during these hot summer days. We're on the third floor, we have a sky light, and we still need to get a curtain for our door to the balcony. Even in a room with two fans, I was still roasting.

As a side note, my copy of Murphy's Law arrived today!! You can read this comic online on Wirepop.com (same site my comic is on). Now I just wait for my Out of Place (wirepop.com) and my Lackadaisy volume 1 (lackadaisycats.com)

Friday night with clay

Spent more time making another clay figure. It's not painted yet - it's taking it's time drying. :) I'll post a photo of it tonight when I get home.

My client job is officially done! It's just a matter of sending a disc with the working files to them now. My goal now is to draw up some new In the Air pages so that I can update again starting in September. I've gotten 6 pages finished so far - I'm hoping that for chapter 4 I can update at least 2 pages a week rather than chapter 3's tedious 1 page a week updating pattern. We'll just have to see what happens with that..!

I've also got an art trade going with my friend Isabel. Below is my thumbnail sketch - I'm hoping to get this painted soon!! These are her RO characters, Chocola (girl) and Ansel (boy).

I can't slow the time
